The 2026 RS Tera racing season took the young sailors to inland waters and the sea at venues across Estonia, while also giving them the chance to test themselves against international competition. During the season, they competed in the inland championships, three Gold Cup events, the Saaremaa championships and the RS Tera World Championships in Travemünde. The long racing summer concluded with the Estonian Championships held over two consecutive weekends: the Sport class competed on Lake Võrtsjärv and the Pro class on Lake Tamula.
This season proved successful for the young sailors of Toila Jahtklubi, both individually and in the club standings. The varied venues, changing weather conditions and tight competition demanded adaptability, consistency and the ability to fight through to the end in difficult situations.
RS Tera Sport
The RS Tera Sport class season ranking was won by Albert Erik Luus, who collected 149 ranking points across seven events. His season was marked by consistency and strong results in very different conditions. Christofer Kasin took second in the Sport class with 140 points. Miia Kubjas finished third with 131 points, edging Raul Moorast on equal points thanks to better event results. Among Toila Jahtklubi sailors, Raul Moorast finished the season fourth and Mauri Värimäe sixth. This meant that three Toila sailors made it into the Sport class season’s top six.

RS Tera Pro
In the RS Tera Pro class, the battle for the top places remained tight until the final event of the season. The ranking was won by Georgi Gavrilov of Narva-Jõesuu Jahtklubi with 167 points. Viktor Korotkov finished second with 153, and Alisa Petrova third with 139 points. Toila Jahtklubi’s best finisher, Daniel Oliver Trenholm, ended the season in fifth place. Daniel scored 160 points across seven events; after the two worst results were deducted, his ranking score was 119 points. He finished 20 points behind the top three.

Club ranking 2026
Alongside the individual results, Toila Jahtklubi’s first place in the RS Tera club ranking was especially gratifying. All eight events counted toward the club standings, with no results dropped. Toila scored 95, 82, 115, 159, 114, 115, 88 and 66 points in the events, for a season total of 834 points and a clear overall victory. Nõuni Purjeklubi finished second with 626 points, and Saaremaa Merispordi Selts third with 615.

Winning the club ranking was not the result of a few isolated podium finishes. It was built on the young sailors’ consistent participation throughout the season, the work put in during training and their willingness to compete in a wide range of conditions. Points were earned both by sailors fighting for wins and by those making their first race starts and gaining valuable experience. We thank all Toila Jahtklubi sailors, parents and supporters. We also thank the entire RS Sailors Estonia family, the organizers and rival clubs for a meaningful, emotional and sportingly strong season. Now it is time to take a short breather, reflect on the work completed and begin preparing for new challenges.
